House and Land Packages
At Master-planned estates, house and land packages are usually heavily promoted by the builders as an option that streamlines the building experience. While this sounds fantastic in theory, you need to carefully consider that you won’t have much choice if you choose to take this route. This isn’t to say it won’t suit anyone, but you may find that with the right guidance, choosing to buy land and then choose a builder may be better value for money than a house and land package. Contact us today to find out more about the best building option for you.
Pelican Waters will have new land available in the near future, however, the exact details haven’t been made public.
As you may have guessed, prices skyrocket when you look at waterfront properties. From what’s available, expect to pay at least 1.4m for a waterfront block of land. Cheaper inland vacant lots still are selling for at least $400,000.
At Aura, there is currently lots of land available at the time of publication. Prices range between $300,000-450,000, depending on size and location.

Is Caloundra the right area for me?
Caloundra is an ideal place for those who want to be close to the beach and rural areas. It tends to attract a lot of families and retirees, due to its relaxed vibe and access to shopping, public transport and schools. The University of the Sunshine Coast in Sippy Downs is about 20-30 minutes down the road. It’s also within a half an hour of many of the Sunshine Coast’s other suburbs such as Maroochydore,
Caloundra is definitely best suited for those looking for a quieter, more laid-back lifestyle and who don’t mind being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Properties can be expensive (especially if you’re thinking of buying near the beach) so first home buyers might need to settle with somewhere in the suburbs.
