Pimpama began as an area for dairy farmers and has retained a lot of this rural feel. The exception to this is the Northern planning zone which is where you’ll find the Ormeau train station, school and access to the Pacific Highway. Pimpama is 25 km from Surfer’s Paradise on the Gold Coast and around 45 km southeast of the Brisbane CBD. Pimpana’s last major development estate, Pacific Cove, has been completed, meaning the Pacific Cove Display Village, does not actually have a lot of display homes to visit anymore. With this in mind, we’ll be looking at what’s left and also some of the display villages in the general area.

Split Level Home Design
With South-East Queensland being a hilly place, chances are you’re going to come across your fair share of uneven blocks of land. This doesn’t necessarily need to be a deal breaker, with options like Split Level Home Designs being available.

Due to Pacific Cove being a completed development and their display village being effectively shut (or sold off), we’ll be looking at some alternative options in the general area.

Offer luxury custom-designed plans. A custom builder offers more flexibility in design for home builds. You’ll be given more say in a range of things from whether you want a double garage, walk-in pantry, master bedroom, and even the building materials used in your new home.

Stroud Homes
Stroud Homes no longer have a display open in Pimpama but they have a feature on their website where you can virtually tour display homes that are no longer open, including the Bronte 26 which was at Pimpama.
Foreshore Coomera

Is Pimpama the right area for my dream home?
Pimpama is an ideal location for those who don’t mind being in the more regional areas of the Gold Coast area. A property here could have some investment qualities, especially for families or those who want to be near the city without actually being in the city. With a little luck, you could get excellent value for a decent block of land.
There are a lot of attractions in Pimpama including a famous strawberry farm, Golf courses and is home to a variety of wildlife including grey kangaroos. It’s also closely located to the Gold Coast’s biggest theme parks (Dreamworld, Movie World and Wet’n’Wild).

The Surrounds at Helensvale is the largest display village on the Gold Coast.
Park Ridge
Located in the south of Brisbane in the Logan area.
Yarrabilba
Another display village is found in the Logan region, about 35 minutes from Surfer’s Paradise.
