Our rating system used to choose the right builder for you.

WHAT IS THE BUILDI STAR RATING SYSTEM?

At Buildi we want to offer you the best of the best in builders for the job!

Think of Buildi as a matchmaking service but who make sure that the match is meant to be between you and the builder.

We issue a star rating to builders based on a unique and balanced rating system covering a variety of different areas.

Only once builders are tested against our strict set of rules are they are issued with the rating and then proposed to you as a potential option.

THE CRITERIA

We use the following criteria to assess builders and give them our Buildi Star Rating:

01COMPLIANCE

 – the entry ticket

  • Current QBCC license.
  • Reviews.
  • QBCC Warranty Insurance.
  • QBCC MR Category.

02BUILD QUALITY

 – their work

  • Walkthrough inspections.
  • Open to builder inspectors checking their work.
  • # of rectification cases.
  • Who are their suppliers?

03EFFICIENCY

 – are they the chosen ones?

  • Build speed (# of weeks).
  • How many people in the team vs. how many houses built.
  • Do they have an in-house draftsperson?
  • How many supervisors on the job.

04COMMUNICATION

 – will you be left on read?

  • Do they have a hands on Director?
  • Who is their contact person that you can deal with directly?
  • Progress report systems.
  • Are they quick to respond to your calls and emails?

05PRICE

 – show me the money!

  • VALUE! What is the $ per sqm for their houses.
  • Open to negotiate quotes.
  • Will they charge for design change?
  • Will the contract be turn key?

06RISK

 – we do the background checks

  • How long they have been operating.
  • MR Category.
  • Complaints and Feedback.
  • Trends.
