We’re going to look at the homes on display at Springfield Rise Estate at Spring Mountain. Located in Greater Springfield, the estate is 15 minutes away from Springfield central and thirty-five minutes from the Brisbane cbd. Spring Mountain has access to facilities including parks, shopping centres, schools and medical facilities.
We’ll have a brief look at each home design on display at Springfield Rise and we’ll also have a look at the suburb itself. The Display village features 48 different homes from 22 builders on display, so there’s plenty to discover and be inspired by if you’re looking to build a new home.
Spring Rise Estate will best suit those interested in a quiet life while still being near amenities like shops and parks. The display homes are all designed with families with kids in mind. The estate looks to have 4000 homes and around 12000 residents by completion.

Land packages
Land on the estate is very popular at the time of writing. There will be a new land release in early 2022 called the Crossing. Details are sparse on the website, but there will be a range of block sizes. You can visit the Springfield Rise website to register your interest. Prices in the past have been between $300,000-600,000.
House and land packages
New house and land packages will be released in the near future. In the meantime, the website offers some example house and land packages (these aren’t actually for sale), so we’ll look at these to give you an idea of what to expect.

Pros:

- Way to live near nature without being too far out into the country.
- The nearby Spring Mountain Acreage Estate offers larger blocks of land for those looking in that direction.
- Even if you don’t want to live in Springfield Rise, the display village is huge and features a wide range of builders, both big and small. It could be worth the trip for anyone looking to explore the options out there
Cons:
- Can be difficult to get land on an estate due to demand. You’ll have to be quick (and a little lucky) to nab a spot.
- Estates tend to be a bit more expensive, so it won’t suit anyone on a tight budget.
- If you do get a block, you’ll need to put a despot down quickly.
